Mary Crow

Mary Crow is Poet Laureate of Colorado. Deeply engaged in the work of Latin and South American poets, she is the translator of Vertical Poetry: Recent Poems by Roberto Juarroz; From The Country of Nevermore: poems by Jorge Teillier; and translator and editor of Woman Who Has Sprouted Wings: Poems by Contemporary Latin American Women Poets. The latter won a Translation Award from Columbia University's Translation Center. A Professor of English at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, Crow has received many writing awards including a poetry fellowship from The National Endowment for the Arts and a Fulbright Creative Writing Award.  Her web site is: www.marycrowthepoet.com
