Of early French Canadian and Ojibwa descent, Daniel Grandbois was born in Minnesota and raised in Colorado, where he lives today with his wife and children. His writing has appeared in Fiction, Web Conjunctions, The Greensboro Review, Double Room,and Sentence. Daniel is an MFA candidate for poetry from the Bennington Writing Seminars. Also a musician, Daniel plays or has played in three of the pioneering bands of "The Denver Sound:" Slim Cessna's Auto Club, Tarantella, and Munly.
Daniel Grandbois' book, The Hermaphrodite (An Hallucinated Memoir), with forty original woodcuts by renowned Argentine printmaker Alfredo Benavidez Bedoya, will be published by Green Integer in 2008.
