Suzanne Owens received her MFA in writing from Emerson College
in Boston. She is a graduate of the American Musical and
Dramatic Academy in New York and has been a member of the
Screen Actor's Guild and Actor's Equity in Canada, England
and the United States. She won the Frank Cat Press Chapbook
Award in 1996 for Theater Poems and has been widely published
in literary journals including Ploughshares, Mississippi
Review, Nimrod and Ontario Review. She lives and teaches
in the Boston area.
