Jeanne Marie Beaumont is the author of three books of poetry including two from BOA, Curious Conduct (2004); and Burning of the Three Fires (2010): Her first collection of poetry, Placebo Effects (W.W. Norton, 1997), was selected by William Matthews as a winner in the National Poetry Series. For seven years she was publisher and co-editor of the literary magazine American Letters & Commentary. She has also worked as a proofreader, medical editor, and advertising copywriter. Beaumont currently teaches at The Unterberg Poetry Center at the 92nd Street Y in Manhattan and in the Stonecoast MFA Program at the University of Southern Maine.
