Introducing a new series on the blog, “Boa Playlists.” Whether you prefer instrumental only or songs that feel like they were written for a specific book, there’s a playlist out there for everyone.
For our first Boa Playlist, summer intern Elena Garcia created a Spotify playlist inspired by James Ciano’s The Committee of Men. Delving into themes of belonging and exile, accountability and forgiveness, and the quiet damage done by historically unexamined masculinity, Ciano confronts how the masculine identity is formed starting at childhood.
